The NeuroMap: A Personalized Self-Discovery Assessment

The NeuroMap is a therapeutic assessment—a structured yet therapeutic process that blends collaborative self-reflection, identity-affirming screeners, and personalized goals-focused psychotherapy. It’s designed for adults who are exploring the possibility that they might be neurodivergent and are seeking clarity, insight, and language for their lived experience—without the pressure or limitations of formal diagnosis.

Rather than pathologizing behavior, we focus on meaning-making. 

Across four sessions, we’ll explore key areas of your neurobiology and emotional landscape, including your sensory experiences and preferences, attention and focus style, and social and relational patterns.

Each session integrates therapeutic dialogue, strengths-based feedback, and psychoeducation about topics like masking, nervous system regulation, and identity development. You’ll receive tailored resources to support self-awareness and coping—along with a personalized summary that reflects the unique terrain of your mind.

Together, we’ll foster a renewed connection to your authenticity and innate wisdom.

What is included:

  • Pre-Session Preparation: Before our first session, you’ll receive a few identity-affirming screeners to complete. These will help guide our work and highlight areas for deeper exploration.
  • One 60-minute intake session: We’ll explore your personal history and current goals using identity-affirming screeners and guided reflection to understand your sensory, cognitive, emotional, and relational experiences.
  • Two 50–60-minute reflective self-discovery sessions:
    These sessions serve as therapeutic interviews, focusing on meaning-making, emotional processing, and deepening self-awareness. These sessions are individualized but may also include psychoeducation, nervous system literacy, values clarification, and tools for self-regulation.
  • One 50–60-minute feedback and integration session:
    In our final session, you’ll receive a strengths-based synthesis of your emerging identity narrative. We’ll collaboratively explore how your neurobiology influences your needs, strengths, challenges, and relationships—and how you can move toward greater authenticity and well-being.
